The Committee on the Judiciary moves to amend the bill on page two, section eight, by striking out the language in lines one through five, and inserting in lieu thereof the following language:
" Each county surveyor of lands first elected or appointed after January 1, 2013, pursuant to section 1, article IX of the West Virginia Constitution shall be a surveyor licensed pursuant to article thirteen-a, chapter thirty of this code and such licensee shall be in good standing. Unlicensed surveyors of land in office on January 1, 2013, are not subject to the licensing requirement.";
And,
On page three, section thirty-six , lines fourteen and fifteen, after the words "Provided, That", by striking out the words "beginning January 1, 2013";
And,
on page three, section thirty-six, line sixteen, after the word "lands", by inserting the word "first",
And,
On page three, section thirty-six , line sixteen, after the word "appointed", by inserting the words "on or after January 1, 2013";
And,
On page 3, section 36, line 19, after the word "standing", by striking out the period and inserting a semicolon, and inserting the words "unlicensed surveyors of land in office on January 1, 2013, are not subject to the licensing requirement.".
